Do I need a boat licence?
No. Our grill boats have 15 hp and can be driven without a licence.
How many people fit on a grill boat?
Each of our three grill boats takes up to 12 guests.
How much does a grill boat cost in Berlin?
4 hours cost €349, 8 hours €599 – every day, incl. fuel and basic cleaning. There are no extra costs, only optional extras such as catering or a cool box.
Which time slots can I book?
4 hours: 10:00–14:00 or 15:00–19:00. 8 hours: 10:00–18:00 or 11:00–19:00.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. You can bring your own – or add catering (€45 p. p.) or breakfast (€40 p. p.) for 6 to 12 guests.
Is there a grill on board?
Yes, every boat has a grill on board. Disposable tableware, grill tongs and a bin bag for 12 people are available for €25.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, for a dog fee of €15.

Our pick-up point is Schwielowseestraße 38, 13599 Berlin (Spandau).
Is there a deposit?
Yes, €250 in cash before departure. It is fully refunded if the boat is returned undamaged – fuel and basic cleaning are already included in the price. You pay the rent on site by cash, debit card or in advance by bank transfer.
What happens in bad weather?
Bad weather does not entitle you to cancel. By arrangement you can move to another date within 14 days or receive a voucher as a goodwill gesture. Rebooking costs a one-off €20. Details in our terms (German).
Is there a toilet on board?
Yes, all our boats have a toilet on board.
Who can rent a grill boat?
Anyone aged 18+ with a valid ID card or passport. Life jackets are mandatory for children under 5 – there are 2 children’s life jackets on every boat.
How does booking work?
Choose date, duration and time slot, pick your boat and extras and send the request. You instantly receive an email acknowledgement and, after our check, the binding booking confirmation.
